We can't all drive fast and fancy exotic supercars with 500hp. More's the pity...but I digress. Instead, some of us must settle for the oddly-named Fiat Patio (what next, the Peugeot Deck?). But hey, the dude bought it and he likes it, so hands off Mr. "I think I'm riding in the Tour de France"!

We have a feeling this banned Volvo Commercial might have been tampered with (since it's less-than family friendly). Then again, those Swedes do have an interesting sense of humor.

Female Bus Driver = Beware

We are LOL at this video from Roma007

Yeah, yeah, we all know that women driver's get a bad rap. But, that's because they're so often seemingly incapable of keeping the vehicle they're operating from being involved in an accident. We're really not sure how the driver of this bus manages to lose control quite so spectacularly on a basically-deserted, smoothly-paved road (OK, there's a really slight bend in it) but she does.

Wait for the plaintive cry of the lone passenger, "Please let me out!", after the bus lands on some parked cars. Let's hope she's not planning on picking up any more passengers!

And, unfortunately, they don't seem to get any better with age!

1200hp Dahlback VW

CarMovies has been out at the track again and has brought us something hot. Literally!

This is the Dahlback Racing VW that's boasting 1200hp under the hood, plus some serious spoilers and body kits.

Oh, and one of it's modifications appears to be a built-in flame thrower, or at least that's what it looks like to us as it whizzes by, bellowing first smoke and then fiery, red flames. Is this a new strategy to intimidate the competition, perhaps?

D Sport 2008 Team Drift

Watch the D Sport 2008 Team Drift from Calgary, Alberta as they show us some of their group moves. This is like watching follow the leader when the leader is drunk! Excellent sliding as seen from some great angles - on track, on car, in car - as the team snakes through each turn.

There's no question what speedboy likes in a car: Supra all the way. Don't mind the color, the year, the modifications, so long as it's a Supra, this boy's happy.

Now, when it comes to women, he's all about diversity...so long as said girl is posing with a Supra, of course!

2008 Gumball 3000 Rally: San Francisco Start

videoguy was on hand as this year's Gumball 3000 Rally rolled into San Francisco.

The starting point of this $120,000 10-day adventure was the Fairmont Hotel, with destinations as varied as Las Vegas and North Korea!

There are definitely some impressive cars to watch out for: a couple of F430 Spyders, a totally sick-looking, flat black Ford GT, a Lotus Exige, a yellow Z06 'taxi'
that manages to pick up a hot blond (and get her to take her top off for the cameras), plus more 911 Turbos than you can shake a stick at, including our favorite being driven by some dickhead who's yet to learn the art of moving off in 1st gear. It was a really slight incline though...

Formula D Round 5: Seattle

Wrecked Magazine went out to a (oh, what a surprise) wet and rainy Seattle to bring us all the slippery action from Formula D Round 5.

All your favorite drivers had their work cut out for them on the slick track, but it proved no match for podium-finisher Robbie Nashida in his Hankook Nissan 350Z. Showing off their skills in a wet track clinic, Sam Hubinette and Rhys Millen showed everyone why they're the one's to beat, with Millen enforcing the point with his first place finish.

With all of the buzz around the use of Alternative Fuel in the auto world, it's not surprising that the world's leading manufacturers set out on cross country road rally to test and raise awareness for hydrogen technology. The Hydrogen Road Tour went through 31 cities in 18 states and all in only 13 days!

StreetFire was invited to the last stop as the cars pulled into Los Angeles. John Tillman, Program Manager with Volkswagen's US Advanced Powertrain Research spent some time with our very own Chris Jones hydrogen technology and VW's all new Hydrogen powered Touran concept.

LS3 and Chevy II Motors on the Simtester

If you've ever wanted to see a motor working up close and personal, you're gonna like these two uploads from engine machining based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

John Edwards is the man in charge and he knows a thing or two about engines (like 24 years' worth).

First up on the Simtester is a Chevy II Engine that's actually a Mercury Marine 181, based on the 153 4 cylinder, that powered the Chevy II. The motor's gonna get a CF fuel injection, headers, Vertex mag, big-valve and high compression head, plus a bunch of other internal mods to power a 1923 track rod open-top coupe.

BFG Football HIt

Samuel Hubinette is The Man. Period.

We've already seen how he's nice and friendly and happy to drop in and say hello but who knew that along with his driving skills, he's an amazing football player, too?

Well, we guess it's half him, half his car, since it's actually the car's rear tire that makes contact with the ball, but it's pretty amazing stuff. We would have loved to see where the ball ended up, too!

How to Drive Like A Complete F***ing Asshole.

We're hoping the rider in this video from Roma007 came out unscathed from this incident.

There are, evidently, some car drivers who don't mind sharing the road with 2-wheelers who (generally) make it through crappy traffic in a lot less time but are, alas, often at the mercy of their 4-wheeled 'friends'. Case in point, the car driver in this video who runs our biker off the road!

Senior Citizen Driver

This is an oldie but a goody from tlrmade that was, allegedly, made by some of the guys up at Industrial Light & Magic when they got bored with all the new Star Wars stuff they were working on a couple of years ago.

If you live anywhere near Los Angeles you know how completely crap the traffic is on the 405 / 10 freeways. So, all the more peculiar that our Jeep-driving hero should find himself all alone on the 5-laner. All alone, that is, until a 747 decides that's a perfect place to land!

And, who better to encounter, cruising at a sedate 40mph up ahead, than a sweet Senior Citizen driving like they're going to their own funeral. Pretty funny stuff, and great effects, especially since Grandma has the last laugh.

Fast and Furious 4 Pontiac Solstice

Something just a little bit different and very special from Car Sponsorships is this 2007 Pontiac Solstice that's been so heavily modified and customized, it's hard to tell that's what it even is!

If you think it looks good you're in good company. The car's currently being used in "The Fast & Furious 4", that's coming out next year. Just what exactly has been done to get it looking this way? Here's just a few of the mods: front end that's a bit like a F430, glassed in and modified for air intake; Porsche Cayman vents, custom rear diffuser , hood from rksports, custom LED taillights and a spoiler borrowed from a Saturn Sky. The car's been dropped, has custom-painted rims and custom lambo door hatches.

Under the hood it's got a precision turbocharger, custom stainless steel manifold and downpipe, bigger injectors, AEM boost controller and K & N filter. Out back is a 3" dual pipe cat-back exhaust, and the car runs on a mix of 100 & 91 octane with a setting for 101 octane for any special 'boost controller' occasions!

Great editing and music in this video that showcases a bright yellow 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. We sort of wish the car was black, just to keep with the feel that is 'The Dark Knight' but we're impressed nonetheless. We also love the car's garage! Shame it's not subterranean or that the car doesn't appear from a hidden compartment or something, but we understand you're not working with a Hollywood budget!

Fast and Furious 4 reteams our favorite stars from the franchise - Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, plus Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster - for an all-out, action-packed mix of muscle, tuner and exotic cars.

They're back in the U.S. of A. battling bad guys, blowing sh*t up and causing general mayhem in the very best way.

If the trailer is anything to go by expect some great car chases and stunts when the movie comes out next year.

Our outlaw is running from the cops, doing some excellent drifting at high speed in an attempt to get away from the flashing lights. All of a sudden, up ahead, a hot girl stranded at the side of the road. As our hero's car whips past, her skirt flies up and he's momentarily distracted. Will he keep on going or return to save the girl?

This is what the new $125,000 GT500KR Shelby Mustang sounds like. It's a special-edition GT500 commemorating the 40th anniversary of the original "King of the Road and is here to show us that Ford's SVT division is still alive and kicking.

TheDarkKnight gets top marks for bringing us possibly The Best Burnout EVER!

The license plate on the Camaro "WLSMKU" might seem a bit full of itself but this video shows it to be wholly true and then some. One look at the pristine tires on this car at the start of the vid and you just know that something bad is gonna happen to them.

The smoke coming off this car's rear end looks like a volcano just exploded and we're just glad we were upwind of that smoke!

BMW Extreme Charger

Car Movies brings us some German-style burnouts, donuts and acceleration runs in his V8-powered 5 series that looks just a little bit different from the norm.

We're not sure if it's the racing stripes, the rear spoiler or what, but this car definitely does not look entirely kosher. However, this BMW Extreme Charger is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and blast down some quiet country roads, so that's cool with us.

Buschur DSM/Evo Shootout

Big Valley PR has been down at the drag strip to bring us all the action from the Buschur 16th DSM / Evo Shootout

Lots of Evos on show, including some definitely-not-stock Evo Xs. Plenty of 1/4 mile runs, with quite a few sub-10 seconders. Looks like a fun day at the strip...especially if you're holding the printout with the fastest time on it.

Over in France, see a near-miss on the track as some late braking nearly takes out the Evo that's ahead of the camera car.

We're not sure where Reed Brothers Dodge found all the pictures for this album but we're hoping they didn't actually take all of them. If they did, we know who we're NOT going on vacation with. Ever.

Some of the pics are, evidently, staged but most just defy a) belief and b) the laws of gravity. Just how stupid are these people? Natural disasters notwithstanding, if this is the gene pool of our planet, we're well and truly f***ed!

Viper vs. Supra

In keeping with the Olympic spirit of the times, this vid from Drift3r pits USA vs. Japan. Yeah, yeah, not vs. China but you try finding a suitable opponent to American muscle...

Anyway...this drag race is Viper vs. Supra and it's a closely-fought sprint down the 1/4 mile (after the requisite tire smoking and psyching out of the other driver, of course).

We know who our money is on, not least because we get to read all the car's specs before the cars go head-to-head.

For USA vs. USA, watch a Lingenfelter Corvette vs. Hennessey Viper and see who comes out on top.

Aural Test: Camaro vs. Gallardo

EVS Motors Inc. has put together a bit of a taste test for us, only it's less oral and more aural.

Do you consider yourself a classic muscle car fan or a lover of Italian exotics? 1967 Chevrolet Camaro with a 2JZ-GTE Turbocharged motor (making around 1000hp) or 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo with a V10 that's good for around 500hp?

We're not sure which one to pick but the fact the roar exiting the Lambo's pipes causes the camera to shake has got to be a good sign!

Mind you, if you take a look at the 2JZ on the Camaro getting fired up, we're not so sure...

The Thai Way Is The Only Way!

The nice people of Thailand have an interesting way of doing things. Some I admire and some I... not so much.

For example, destroying a perfectly good Ferrari. Was that really necessary?! I mean... I would have gladly taken it out of their hands and disposed of it properly.

But if there's anyway of getting a fatty tractor the size of Jay Leno's chin off the back of a truck.. than this video posted by CAMMEDLS1 is it!

This isn't a real police car, that runs red lights because they can... or pulls you over because you thought about speeding. This... is the Drug Abuse Resistance Education mobile!

So put those crack pipes down kids, or the big-bad-ugly 2008 Subaru WRX STi Police Car will kick your ass, with IMPORT2RACE behind the wheel!

BUT... (why is there always a "but"??) this next video is something that might scare the living hell out of you.

I would say "Enjoy!" but some of these are real Police Cars... so RUN! (although it may not do you very much good)

Ken Block: Rally Racing God!

Ken Block has a couple of cool things on his resume: 2005 Rally America Rookie of the Year, X Games 12 Rally Racing Bronze Medalist, 2006 Rally America Championship 2nd Place Overall, has done a 171 Foot Car Jump for Stunt Junkies and won the Rally Racing Silver Medal at X Games 13.

Now we think we're all often guilty of saying "oh, I could do that" when watching some so-good-they-make-it-look-easy videos...but we're pretty sure that one look at this 2007 Rally Highlights compilation makes it very clear that we cannot do what Ken Block does.

Big Truck Drifting

Woodward Dream Cruise

In case you weren't one of the million people who converged on Detroit this past weekend, Streetfire was there to record all the action.

In its 15th year, the Woodward Dream Cruise brings together cars both old and new over a 16 mile parade route. And this year's cruise was especially heavy on GM vehicles because it's The General's 100th Anniversary. Coming out to help with the celebrations were, of course, the ZR1 and the Camaro, plus some true classics from years gone by. Happy Anniversary GM!

Lamborghini Murcielago Burnout

SuperSpeeders are all about, unsurprisingly, the faster things in life. Which suits us just fine!

Track Day

slowerthanu recently got out to the track with some buddies and here's the result.
Turns out the Colorado State Police have a track...and will occasionally rent it out to the public. Who knew, although it fits with their whole 'revenue collection' ideal so we're not wholly surprised. Anyway, check out a Corvette, 350Z, Evo, NSX and more as they navigate the turns. What you won't see: a C6 Z06 that caught fire and burnt up the infield. Oops.

Toyota Partner Robot

Okay so StreetFire's own DailyDriver recently took a trip to Toyota's facilities in Japan and instead of capturing footage of their cars, he got this video of Toyota's Partner Robot playing Over the Rainbow on his trumpet. And even though it may appear as if the music is coming out of some hidden speakers, we're told that this Mini-Storm Trooper actually produced the sound by blowing into the trumpet like a human.

ASIMO eat your heart out! I personally would like to see this robot and ASIMO duke it out. They're all creepy if you ask me.
