Growling Lambo

Growling Lambo
L4MB0R6H1N1 lives up to his name and brings us some extremely pleasing entertainment in the form of the LP560-4.

If you've ever wondered where those clever sound effects people get really effective, big cat roars from, look no further. It's not an actual animal making that noise, that would be far too obvious. It is, in fact, a car!

This Lambo growls more menacingly than a lion demanding to be fed, but unlike that animal we would like to have the Lambo as a pet.

For some Lambo nostalgia see what people thought of the Countach back in 1985

Aural Test: Camaro vs. Gallardo

EVS Motors Inc. has put together a bit of a taste test for us, only it's less oral and more aural.

Do you consider yourself a classic muscle car fan or a lover of Italian exotics? 1967 Chevrolet Camaro with a 2JZ-GTE Turbocharged motor (making around 1000hp) or 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo with a V10 that's good for around 500hp?

We're not sure which one to pick but the fact the roar exiting the Lambo's pipes causes the camera to shake has got to be a good sign!

Mind you, if you take a look at the 2JZ on the Camaro getting fired up, we're not so sure...

M5 With ASR Engineering Exhaust

M5 With ASR Engineering Exhaust

The guys over at 360Forged have been busy 'working' again...

We sort of like what we do but we're not convinced we wouldn't have more fun over at ASR Engineering. They get to work on the coolest cars, like the M5 in this video.

Apparently this car is stock with only an ASR Engineering Gen II exhaust. Whatever the hell they've done to it, it goes like a rocket and sounds awesome, too. Only problem with shooting in Florida, though, is it's all too straight. Guys, get those cars to some corners and then we'll really have something to talk about.

Check out the M5 With ASR Engineering Gen II Exhaust

Or ride along as BMW M5 vs Audi RS6 do some serious slicing through freeway traffic.

VIDEO: The History of Cherry Bomb Glasspacks

The History of Cherry Bomb Glasspacks
Brought to you by Stacey David

Remember Glasspacks? In the days when our fathers and grand-fathers were hot-rodding, glasspacks were a common thing. They were basically a legal way of sawing off the muffler and running straight pipes to lessen the backpressure and produce an unmistakable sound. Known as ‘Bombs’ back in the 60’s because the company that first introduced them was named Cherry Bomb, today the legendary look of a bright red glasspack is still alive. In this video from the TV show Stacey David’s GearZ, Stacey walks you through how glasspacks got their start.

Audio Porn! Carrera GT tuned by Gemballa

Arguably the most exotic sounding street sound made, is the V10 symphony of the Carrera GT. Sure I love the warm gurgle of an LX 5.0, but there is something about this Stuttgart stallion that tears down the walls between imports and domestics. If you don't love how this car sounds, then you either don't have ears or don't love cars. Now all prose aside, this sample of the breed is even more special than most... this car is the Gemballa Mirage. Uploaded by Slick!
