Formula D Round 5: Seattle

Wrecked Magazine went out to a (oh, what a surprise) wet and rainy Seattle to bring us all the slippery action from Formula D Round 5.

All your favorite drivers had their work cut out for them on the slick track, but it proved no match for podium-finisher Robbie Nashida in his Hankook Nissan 350Z. Showing off their skills in a wet track clinic, Sam Hubinette and Rhys Millen showed everyone why they're the one's to beat, with Millen enforcing the point with his first place finish.

Track Day

slowerthanu recently got out to the track with some buddies and here's the result.
Turns out the Colorado State Police have a track...and will occasionally rent it out to the public. Who knew, although it fits with their whole 'revenue collection' ideal so we're not wholly surprised. Anyway, check out a Corvette, 350Z, Evo, NSX and more as they navigate the turns. What you won't see: a C6 Z06 that caught fire and burnt up the infield. Oops.

Dynolicious Tests

You may recall we did a little test of iPhone's new Dynolicious application and thought it was pretty sweet.

Well now our friends over at Garage419 have done a proper test, getting real dyno numbers on a car, taking it to the track and getting the time slips from the drag strip and pitting it against the more expensive G-Tech portable dyno unit.
