I love these video laps of various tracks, you get a good feel for the personality of the circuit. Sebring for example is very flat, few trees... probably the antitheses of Spa, but still a fun circuit. Check it out.

Unbelievable video. A video by computer artist Raffaele Picca, it starts with a completely blank canvas in Microsoft Paint and turns into a near photo-realistic painting of a Subaru WRX STi. I'm sure Raffaele is working with a tablet off a photo, but that doesn't diminish the fact he's working in paint. This just goes to show it's all about the talent of the artist, not the sophistication of the tool.

Drifting in Warsaw, Fantastic Video!

So we're ticking down the final days of 2006 here at StreetFire and looking back we've been fortunate to host some great videos. We've also attracted the attention of some great videographers whose works get better and better with each upload. Adrenaline Motorsports has produced great videos all year long and here is one they just uploaded... All I can say is Bravo, 5 stars!

Corsica WRC Rally 1997: Ford vs. Subaru

Yet, another small taste of what we're missing out of here in the states since no cable provider will pick it up. "Only Rally Videos" has another great one they just put up from the WRC race in Corsica from almost ten years ago. Great stuff, love how the growds just press up within inches of the cars..... somehow this is like the exact opposite of Formula 1 racing to me. Formula 1 is all about Safety, safety and *yawn* more safety. Guess what? If I want "safe" I'll white knuckle the National Spelling Bee. No, I like watching car racing because it *IS* dangerous. It's the control of danger that makes it so exciting....Sorry about that, rant off. here's a cool Rally Vid.

WRX vs. EVO let the fight begin.

I just posted about a cool EVO IX MR video, so naturally I get a few dozen emails from the WRX crowd asking why I don't feature them. Gave me an idea, here is a recently upload WRX video. As of 1:16 PM EST The View count is 814 WRX and 1,912 for the EVO. We're going to have a race from now until this time tomorrow to see which one gets the most views, and tomorrow we will declare the winner as whomever has the most new NEW views since I made this post (above the numbers above)....
