Seriously Impressive Burnout

Looks like Quick_Silver has been having a real good time at "Suck Bang & Blow".

Yeah, we thought we'd maybe gone to the 'wrong' site (hate it when that happens...) for a minute but, apparently, this event takes place each year in South Carolina and is a Bike Week rather than anything else that those words might bring to mind.

So, if you're surrounded by fellow enthusiasts, why not deliver a seriously impressive burnout ? And between the smoke, the wind and the lights, it looks more Hollywood special effects than rear tire meltdown. Very cool indeed.

Best Burnout EVER!

The license plate on the Camaro "WLSMKU" might seem a bit full of itself but this video shows it to be wholly true and then some. One look at the pristine tires on this car at the start of the vid and you just know that something bad is gonna happen to them.

The smoke coming off this car's rear end looks like a volcano just exploded and we're just glad we were upwind of that smoke!

BMW Extreme Charger

Car Movies brings us some German-style burnouts, donuts and acceleration runs in his V8-powered 5 series that looks just a little bit different from the norm.

We're not sure if it's the racing stripes, the rear spoiler or what, but this car definitely does not look entirely kosher. However, this BMW Extreme Charger is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and blast down some quiet country roads, so that's cool with us.

Viper vs. Supra

In keeping with the Olympic spirit of the times, this vid from Drift3r pits USA vs. Japan. Yeah, yeah, not vs. China but you try finding a suitable opponent to American muscle...

Anyway...this drag race is Viper vs. Supra and it's a closely-fought sprint down the 1/4 mile (after the requisite tire smoking and psyching out of the other driver, of course).

We know who our money is on, not least because we get to read all the car's specs before the cars go head-to-head.

Lamborghini Murcielago Burnout

SuperSpeeders are all about, unsurprisingly, the faster things in life. Which suits us just fine!

This vid is just a little teaser for what you have to look forward to on their latest DVD. The crew got their hands on a 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago and were more than happy to burn some rubber. Smoky burnout in an AWD Murci? No problem.

1967 GT500 Burnout

mrjaseRACING gets all the credit for sharing this smoke-filled video with us.

The car might date to 1967 but that doesn't mean the burnout is any less impressive. We love the flat black paint on this GT500 but we love it's tire-smoking abilities more!

Get a good look at the car in the first half of the video; by the half-way point, it's just billowing smoke in every direction. However, you do get a small glimpse of the almost perfect rubber circle around the car just before the clip ends. Sweet!

900HP Procharged Corvette C5

Devil10Six is, evidently, a 'Vette fan, if this homage to his friend's C5 is anything to go by.

Get a step-by-step look at what the car's owner has put into his Corvette to turn it from a stock C5 into a 900HP Procharged beast. That's dedication!

Check out the car spinning its rear wheels on the dyno and then spinning - and heavily smoking - its rear wheels on the tarmac. Excellent burnout action!

Mustang Giugiaro Concept Burnout!

We have KingKnight to thank for this vid.

There's something rather disturbing about this video, maybe because it's just not something you see every day.

Concept cars are million dollar, or more, design and engineering exercises that, generally, are pushed onto a stage somewhere and left to look pretty under the lights. Or not, as is the case with this fantastic Giugiaro Mustang that was unveiled at the LA Auto Show 2 years ago.

Whoever is behind the wheel of this stunning design concept knows there's a serious motor hiding under the hood and isn't afraid to send all that power to the rear wheels. Is it just us or is that wall rather close for comfort.

The dude's got some big cojones to be doing a burnout in this car. Impressive man, very impressive!

NOPI Drift @ Lake Eerie Speedway

If you're a fan of drifting, you're gonna love this slickly-edited video from CQeNS

Shot at Lake Eerie Speedway, it's the NOPI drifters doing what they do best: billowing smoke, laying down rubber and gliding sideways. We know it's damn hard to do, but they just make it look easy.

Great camera angles, too. See the action from just above and behind the rear-wheel, from the passenger seat and over the driver's shoulder.

These drivers take car control to the extreme. Check out the precision donuts and the 360 at high speed. We'll admit it, we're impressed. And was that a Honda Element drifting?!

Big Rig Donut

If you enjoy laying down some rubber, you're going to appreciate this vid from prabhathgt32

If you're even remotely environmentally-conscious, however, you may want to avert your eyes. The black smoke billowing out of the stacks on this truck are reminiscent of a burning Amazonian rainforest.

Better to keep your eyes on the truck's wheels and marvel at the amounts of rubber getting laid down. Even better, the driver's doing a donut! In a 10-wheel big rig! Awesome skills, and the spectators certainly seem to like it.

Forest Burnout

I guess we should thank XtremeFilms for this video...but we're just not quite sure what to make of it. One thing's for sure though, where there's smoke, there's fire.

Perhaps life in Finland is a bit different or, at least, what goes for entertainment. Are they actually going to burn down the forest or simply set fire to various rear tires?

We'll be honest, we're confused. But, evidently, the attendees of Bomber Weekend in Pieksänmaa, Finland, are not. Get together, smoke a bunch of...rubber and have a damn good time doing it.

We wouldn't trade places with the dude trying to hold the rear wheel in place if you paid us, and we also reckon the rider's calves are now medium rare, but damn that rear tire sure lights up like a Christmas tree!

Okay this has to be one of the sweetest burnouts I have seen in a very long time. It's not exactly the longest clip but it's worth seeing every second. If you're a fan of white smoke coming off the back tires of a Skyline, then this is a video that you can't miss.

DBR9 Pit Stop Demostration

In this video you get to see how Aston Martin preforms a public simulation of a DBR9 pit stop a week before Petit Le Mans.
