Kazunori Yamauchi is a God among gamers. The brains behind the behemoth that is the Gran Turismo franchise he is also, unsurprisingly, a car guy. In his collection are the new GT-R and a Ford GT, a car he says is the best designed in the history of automobiles.

Pitting these two against each other in the real world is WebRidesTV, who put the cars through a braking, slalom and acceleration test to see which is faster.

DusterDude04 has been compiling and splicing together some of the best stuff he can lay his hands on from a variety of Streetfire regulars and this is the high octane result.

Pretty much something for everyone in this video. Viper? Check. Murcielago? Got one. Ford GT? Yup. Gallardo? Doing its bit at the drag strip. Z06? Burning rubber, as expected.

We'll say yes to any of these if someone's kind enough to make the offer! Honestly, we're not picky at all...

2008 Gumball 3000 Rally: San Francisco Start

videoguy was on hand as this year's Gumball 3000 Rally rolled into San Francisco.

The starting point of this $120,000 10-day adventure was the Fairmont Hotel, with destinations as varied as Las Vegas and North Korea!

There are definitely some impressive cars to watch out for: a couple of F430 Spyders, a totally sick-looking, flat black Ford GT, a Lotus Exige, a yellow Z06 'taxi'
that manages to pick up a hot blond (and get her to take her top off for the cameras), plus more 911 Turbos than you can shake a stick at, including our favorite being driven by some dickhead who's yet to learn the art of moving off in 1st gear. It was a really slight incline though...

Entry into 2008 Gumball 3000: $120,000

Supercars at Cars and Coffee

We're glad that SpeedandMotion likes to get up early on the weekends, otherwise we'd miss out on a bunch of supercars all meeting up.

Cars & Coffee is just about the perfect way to spend the morning: a cup of Java accompanied by the dulcet tones of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Ford GTs, Shelby Mustangs and any number of other cars you wouldn't mind having in your garage.

We always thought that Lambos have a fairly limited production run, but you wouldn't know if from this video! Positively common, at least in SoCal. Did we leave any for the rest of the country?

We already know the Ford GT is a fantastic piece of kit for the money, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be, er, enhanced.

Hence this Ford GT Twin Turbo getting some dyno action over at Livernois Motorsports. Turn up your speakers, this car sounds ridiculous!

Oh, and how about some numbers to go with that engine soundtrack? 904.7HP, 757 lb-ft of torque...yeah, those sound about right.

Supra Sunday Cruise

d6d1242c has us riding shotgun in his Supra on a Sunday cruise down Mexico way.

Evidently, taking a drive with your buddies is an International thing and the boys down in Mexico are representing nicely.

The Supra camera car happily dices through traffic with various Corvettes, another Supra, a Porsche Carrera Turbo and, oh, just a run-of-the-mill Ford GT.

The traffic's a bit heavy at the start of the vid but as traffic clears our boys speed things up. To keep it real, they're running radar and, right after a spirited sprint, the radar goes off. A quick pan to the right reveals a highway patrol car that's pulled over...a Ford Explorer. Loser!

Enjoy the Supra's "whooshing" turbo soundtrack and the occasional engine roar as the Ford GT accelerates past.

Really cool video of a Ford GT tearing it up. According to the description it's sporting 20" front 22" rear rims along with an Ohlin suspension. Look'n good :-)

900 hp Twin Turbo Ford GT

This is just a work of art, and with 900hp dyno pulls...man the Louvre has nothing on this. Take a look at the turbo work on this thing. Those pipes are massive. Anyhow the folks at Fast Parts Network just uploaded this video giving us a cockpit-view of a full throttle 10-140mph acceleration run in this beast. It just doesn't let up at all. Most impressive.

All I have to say is this car is amazing. The engine is just a work of art. Very well done plumbing, very high fit and finish. The rest of the garage doesn't look half bad either. Loved seeing the GT next to a Saleen S7.
