Ever wondered what it would be like to take one of the world's most prestigious supercars around a racetrack? Well I always wondered the same thing and recently I had the opportunity to do just that!
Al & Ed's Autosound in conjunction with
Lamborghini of Beverly Hills thought what better way to treat their customers than by renting out the entire Autoclub Motor Speedway, hiring a dozen professional driving instructors, and letting them rip their Lamborghinis around the track for some high-speed fun!
When I got behind of the wheel of a
Lamborghini Gallardo with the instructor next to me, I was quite surprised at how amazingly fun this car was to drive. When I thought I pushing the car to its limits my instructor would say "GAS GAS GAS!" There's nothing like driving 150 MPH without the constant fear of going to jail!
If driving the cars wasn't cool enough, after lunch we were treated with a showing of the all new
Lamborghini LP560-4! In addition to the Lamborghinis present,
Al & Ed's showed off some of their muscle with the
15,000 Watt Experience which was a
Escalade ESV pumping 15,000 watts of energy through your body! By far the most radical stereo system that I've ever heard in my life. So intense that they require you to wear ear protection headphones while in it!
This event was designed to give appreciation with the customer in mind and I'm confident that it did just that and a whole lot more. I can't wait till next year!
