Gallardo Nurburgring Blowout at 124 mph

Gallardo Nurburgring Blowout at 124 mph
Thanks to FrankUhlig for this high speed upload.

We're so used to seeing one car, shipped over from the US, going around the Nurburgring trying to beat the record, it's easy to forget that this is a racetrack that holds, well, races! And scary things happen when you're racing, like when your wheel blows up at 200kph!

Get all the action from inside the unfortunate Lamborghini Gallardo, looking forward and back, and from passing cars. The driver sighs with disappointment at the end. Yeah, that's really gotta suck.

To see how this track is meant to be driven take a M5 taxi ride with Sabine Schmidt

Bullrun Blowout

Bullrun Blowout
One of the best things about the Bullrun is how much everyone looks out for everybody else. Sure, all the drivers are trying to get to the checkpoints first and there's the occasional bit of friendly sabotage, but when the chips are down, the family comes together.

Case in point, Rachel in her Lamborghini Gallardo, stranded by the roadside with a flat tire. Given this crazy, leggy chick from New Zealand is hotter than most supermodels, it's no surprise that a lot of people (guys) stop to help her, including a very good looking soldier and the police.

The 3 hot sisters from Team Texas can't offer much by way of help, but stop to show their support anyway. Thank goodness for West Coast Customs, who dispatch a tow truck to rescue our damsel in distress (who was only doing 65mph when she hit that boulder, honest...)

No blowout for Team Twins on the rally, just a small gas tank that's getting a jerry can fill-up in Death Valley when 2 F18s do a fly by

Supercars at Cars and Coffee

Supercars at Cars and Coffee

We're glad that SpeedandMotion likes to get up early on the weekends, otherwise we'd miss out on a bunch of supercars all meeting up.

Cars & Coffee is just about the perfect way to spend the morning: a cup of Java accompanied by the dulcet tones of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Ford GTs, Shelby Mustangs and any number of other cars you wouldn't mind having in your garage.

We always thought that Lambos have a fairly limited production run, but you wouldn't know if from this video! Positively common, at least in SoCal. Did we leave any for the rest of the country?

Yes! Well, we found one, and it's keeping some very high-octane company over in Florida. See how the East coast rolls when it's a SSC Aero vs. a Gallardo LP640
