Bullrun Blowout

One of the best things about the Bullrun is how much everyone looks out for everybody else. Sure, all the drivers are trying to get to the checkpoints first and there's the occasional bit of friendly sabotage, but when the chips are down, the family comes together.

Case in point, Rachel in her Lamborghini Gallardo, stranded by the roadside with a flat tire. Given this crazy, leggy chick from New Zealand is hotter than most supermodels, it's no surprise that a lot of people (guys) stop to help her, including a very good looking soldier and the police.

The 3 hot sisters from Team Texas can't offer much by way of help, but stop to show their support anyway. Thank goodness for West Coast Customs, who dispatch a tow truck to rescue our damsel in distress (who was only doing 65mph when she hit that boulder, honest...)

Bullrun 2008 - Behind the Scenes Pt 1

The most glamorous rally in the world, Bullrun ran from Calgary to Scottsdale in June 2008, with 50 teams covering 3700 miles of stunning scenery, all seen from inside their cars at triple digit speeds, and Best of Streetfire was there to capture all the action.

Richard Rawlings, Bullrun veteran, prankster, previous rally winner and, this year, running in a Chevy Caprice outfitted with a 6 liter Escalade motor, is having serious fuel pump issues.

Aaron, his chief mechanic and navigator, tries his best to fix the green beast at the side of the road, but the car needs some TLC and some new parts. An overnight stop in the small town of Seeley Lake, where the locals ain't never seen nothing like these dudes before, gives them the tools and parts they need to get back on the road and catch up to the rest of the Bullrunners.

More Rally mayhem from our good friends over at Bullrun

In this installment, the rallyers are en route from Orlando to Miami. The convoy of exotica leaves the Hard Rock Hotel in its wake and sets its collective GPS for Moroso Motorsports Park on Jupiter Island. En route, as you would expect, there's plenty of high speed motoring, not least from Michael Schwab in his F430.

Unfortunately, doing 180mph on the freeway doesn't agree too well with his car's tires and the result is a rear flat. Schwabie languishes at the side of the road as the rest of the pack fly by at high speed.

May in Florida is love bug season and the resulting carnage on all of the cars turns their sheetmetal from gleaming to gnarly. The best way to get that crap off? Coke and elbow grease.

As the clean-up continues, Claus throws a tantrum about who may or may not have picked up a route card that morning, and Schwabie's car arrives on a low-loader, ready to do damage on the track.
