C5 Z06 Blows Up!

vondutch brings us this fiery video from Great Lakes Dragway and while we're sad to see the demise of the vehicle involved, we're glad to see no one got hurt.

So, what does a TNT wet nitrous explosion in a 2001 Corvette C5 look like? Pretty gnarly, basically.

1200hp Dahlback VW

CarMovies has been out at the track again and has brought us something hot. Literally!

This is the Dahlback Racing VW that's boasting 1200hp under the hood, plus some serious spoilers and body kits.

Oh, and one of it's modifications appears to be a built-in flame thrower, or at least that's what it looks like to us as it whizzes by, bellowing first smoke and then fiery, red flames. Is this a new strategy to intimidate the competition, perhaps?
