We've seen the car everywhere the last few months and it's about time we see the production car. They matched up the latest videos of the ZR1 and GT-R on the famous track and turned their own timer on. See how both cars performed against each other in ZR1 vs GT-R at the 'Ring.'

We love how much pride the workers on the line take in their work and the fact that Corvette owners and buyers visit the line on a daily basis to see how their cars are
made.

Check out the size of that motor being hoisted and the way the body is lowered onto the chassis and drivetrain. Very cool indeed.

Spotted: Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell

I was driving down Sunset Blvd as I do every day on my way to the gym, and low and behold what catches my eye? It was a Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cell test vehicle! Yeah one might say that I should probably be a little more excited about all the exotic cars rolling through the streets of Los Angeles but with gas prices at $4.47 for 87 octane, this Equinox got me excited in ways that the exotics simply can not.

GM actually launched a test fleet of these Fuel Cell vehicles as part of their "Project Driveway" initiative. The General handed over a handful of these vehicles to REAL drivers in select markets such as Washington D.C., New York City, and Southern California. Even I signed up for it but to my disappointment I wasn't selected.

With ZERO emissions and a range of 150 miles between fill-ups, this car is perfect for commuters in urban markets.

The Fuel Cell Equinox even beat out still competition such as the very popular Toyota Prius and Honda FCX Clarity to win Green Car Jounal's Green Car Vision Award.

Talk about too much wheel spins! Take a look at this classic Corvette as it's almost freaking vertical on its second wheel hop. The spokesperson at the drag strip commented "Wow! I hope somebody got that on video that was the most spectacular wheel spin, especially the second one!" The spokesperson certainly would not say the same thing if that was his Vette. Who would?

At 35 seconds into the video, the owner explains the aftermath and how he broke the bell housing, the transmission, the header, the front fascia and the carburetor hitting the hood costing him an estimated $3-$4,000 dollars to fix. He said he'll be back in town in about 3 weeks to a month and he'll "put some wheelie bars on it for sure this time."

Hey man! that doesn't sound too bad of an idea.

If actions speak louder than words, there's a good reason this GM ad has no clever voiceover. The impatient (or should that be ingenious?) driver of Chevrolet Luv DMAX knows the raging torrent of water is no match for his truck's grunt.

Certainly makes the Saturday run to the grocery store slightly more exhilarating when you're basically driving down upstream. Given this vid was shot in Bogotá, do we think the truck is on the automotive equivalent of Colombian Marching Powder?

Corvette ZR1 does 205 MPH!

So the New Corvette ZR1 has been received with much acclaim from automotive enthusiasts and is one of the most anticipated cars of the year. GMNext100 has exclusive footage of the General's new king being put to the test by the Corvette Development Engineering team in Papenburg, Germany.

According to the test, the ZR1 was able to hit a top speed of 205 MPH. I'm not convinced that this beast isn't capable of more. Let us know what you think in the ZR1 Discussion.

Camaro mules are being tested around the country. This one was caught on video and because we know everyone is 'past' ready for the new Camaro to show up on car lots, here is at least a vicarious ride. How GM will market this car is still being tossed about on forums. While the V-8 is sure to get the car noticed as a muscle car, the auto maker may instead go for marketing the more fuel efficient V-6 and also offer a four cylinder version. There has been so much talk and not enough driving action, so without further ado, the Fifth Generation Camaro Mule.
