900hp Chevy Van

blacknblueusa has been down at the drag strip and found something a little bit different for us.

We'd love this car even more if it was a minivan but the fact that it's a 900hp Chevy Van works too!

Probably a good job the van's not actually racing against anyone else, because when the driver hits the gas (and the nitrous) and that thing takes off, it literally takes off. Excellent points for burnout duration, plus ability to pull a great wheelie.

But just be sure you're not overdoing it or else things might go Boom

Very Loud Stage 3 Cam Z06

We've said it before, we love the Z06. But, as ChargerRTZ can attest, there ain't nothing wrong with adding even more performance to this already stupidly fast car.

How does a Stage 3 cam, headers and 150 psi of nitrous sound by way of modifications? Pretty sweet, right! And the dyno runs speak for themselves. We're not sure how they're getting 554hp out of this car, stock, but that's the number it makes. But just wait til they hit the 'goody' switch and see that number leap to 708hp. Nice!

It's sort of like a before & after. This is what a 725HP M5, tuned by ASREngineering, sounds like before we hit the nitrous switch...and this is what it sounds like after.

Insane. You can see the birds flying North for the Summer as the car rockets past! We'd love to see what this car does round corners but even just in a straight line, it looks and sounds ridiculously good.

Worst Nitrous Explosion!

Thanks to jthompson for this fiery vid.

Generally speaking, if you're running on nitrous, you want the flames to be shooting out of the back of your vehicle as you rapidly disappear down the strip.

Unfortunately for this dragster, things get very hot, very quickly in the engine compartment and despite every fire extinguisher within reach being pointed in its direction, the flames just keep getting bigger.

A few explosions cause the crowd to scream and make everyone realize this fire just has to burn itself out. Not exactly the smoking-hot action everyone anticipated but a cool video (except for the car's owner) nonetheless.
