EVENT: Live Sockets Battle Series July 19-20

If you're in the SoCal area this weekend make sure you stop by the AutoClub Motor Speedway in Fontana and check out the Live Sockets Battle Series!

Live Sockets Entertainment along with Redline Time Attack Series has gathered some of the country's top tuners for this inaugural event. This is an all new racing series that puts 2 teams head-to-head on the 21 turn, 2.8 mile course for the fastest lap. Cars will be separated by a specified distance and while the lead car tries to extend their lead, the following car must close the gap. The overall winner will be chosen by lap times and the gaps between cars.

The Nissan GT-R arrives in Los Angeles TONIGHT!

SHORT NOTICE, if you know anyone in LA that would want to attend this event, be sure to tell them!

Universal City Nissan in Los Angeles is hosting a party tonight to celebrate the first GT-R delivered in the United States. Steve Millen and the rest of the Nismo group will be in attendance to welcome guests and give their thoughts on Nissan's Flag ship. You may remember Steve Millen recently raced a GT-R against a 911 Turbo and Corvette Z06 around Buttonwillow Raceway in a recent Road and Track comparison test, this is your chance to get his opinion of the car and how it compares to the rest of the world.

SEMA 2007

Some people look forward to holidays such as Christmas or even their birthday but in the wonderful world of cars the entire year builds up to one week, SEMA.

And once again the StreetFire team will be attending this glorious event so that we can bring our loyal and glorious users coverage they might not otherwise see. As I sit here at the airport terminal trying to tune out the many annoying sounds of the airport (Dancing With the Stars on the TV, the announcer on the intercom trying to find some lost passenger, and the couple next to me having a conversation in a language I can't understand) I know that in 1 short hour my plane will land in Sin City and I will be in automotive heaven for the next 4 days.

With that I would like to encourage everyone to check back DAILY and HOURLY as we will be uploading videos not days, but HOURS after getting the coverage. We are dedicated to bringing you the best SEMA coverage so check back frequently.
