We wish we could share a bit more information about this video from speedandmotion but the footage is going to have to speak for itself.

Two GT-Rs get pitted against each other in this Time Attack video. Does the new kid on the block have the upper hand in this battle? We don't know! Well, not for sure, anyway. But one look at how that R35 handles the turns in this Time Attack and we're pretty sure the latest generation of this must-have ride kicked some serious ass out there on the track.

EVENT: Live Sockets Battle Series July 19-20

If you're in the SoCal area this weekend make sure you stop by the AutoClub Motor Speedway in Fontana and check out the Live Sockets Battle Series!

Live Sockets Entertainment along with Redline Time Attack Series has gathered some of the country's top tuners for this inaugural event. This is an all new racing series that puts 2 teams head-to-head on the 21 turn, 2.8 mile course for the fastest lap. Cars will be separated by a specified distance and while the lead car tries to extend their lead, the following car must close the gap. The overall winner will be chosen by lap times and the gaps between cars.

Tarzan Yamada R32 GTR Time Attack

Respect to Clashprod , they always have us on board with awesome drivers at the best tracks.

Case in point, this Time Attack video shot at Silverstone. We're in-car with Tarzan Yamada in his VW R32 GTR, plus getting a feel for the whole event.

Get a ride down pit row, check out the other cars competing, see the drivers getting ready and the cars lining up.

Sounds like this was an awesome race with all the cars extremely close in the final timings. As the dudes at the end explain, you can run any car, with any set up, whatever you want - turbo, nitrous, you name it - but you have to be running Toyo street tires. So, in the end, you get a very closely-fought Time Attack.

Skunk2 Racing's Time Attack Evo On A Dyno

Skunk2 Racing have been kind enough to upload a sneak peak at their latest effort before it hits the track, and they've cut it to The Prodigy: bonus!

Their Time Attack Mitsubishi Evolution looks like a monster! They aren't revealing too many details of what modifications they've made but the engine compartment is packed full of parts that just scream "MORE POWER".

Watch and listen as the crew puts the car through its paces on the dyno, taking the car to its 7,000rpm redline as the speedo races up to 100mph and then plummets back to zero.

This car promises to be fast and we can't wait to see it tackle its first Time Attack.

We have absolutely no idea what these dudes are saying but the cars in this Evo 5 Laps Battle video speak for themselves.

450hp Lotus Elise Time Attack

We're literally riding on the front bumper in this video from Clashprod

You can almost touch the race track in this excellent Lotus Elise Time Attack video.

Steve Guglielmi takes us around the Lotus Elise Pro Challenge in his 450hp British rocket ship! That car is quick! Not surprising, we suppose, when it only weighs 750kg (that's 1,653 lbs to you and me).

Evidently, Steve's doing pretty well in the time attack since he's lapping everyone he encounters. Enjoy the scream of the engine and the thrill of riding right on top of the racing line.
