H2H - '08 Audi TT vs. '08 Mazda RX8

Torque TV's been out at Willow Springs Raceway again, pitting two evenly-matched cars against each other to see which one will be victorious.

This episode of Head-to-Head is Audi TT vs. Mazda RX8 , Germany vs. Japan, 200hp 2L Inline 4 turbo vs. 232hp 1.3L Rotary 2. Should be interesting.

As ever, Sam Hubinette is having way too much fun throwing these cars around the track, giving his opinion on the TT's red leather and revving the RX8 to 9,000rpms...which may or may not have fried it!

New car + RWD + large amounts of horsepower + open asphalt = major drifting.
As part of our Challenger Week , we're putting this new Muscular beast through its paces and bringing you along for the ride.

You'd never know from watching this video that drifting an automatic is a bit of a bitch. Just gotta fight those upshifts and keep on gliding, smoke billowing and rubber burning around every turn.

Yeah, like we said, it was a really tough day...
