Pininfarina Dead At 51

Sad and crappy news from Turin, Italy today. Andrea Pininfarina, the designer who has worked in conjunction with Ferrari, Fiat and more, has been killed. The scooter he was riding was hit by some idiot driving a car. The man behind the likes of the Ferrari Super America, the F430 Spyder, the Maserati Quattroporte and the 575M was a mere 51 years of age.

While at Palm Beach Supercar Weekend, Garage419 had a talk with James Glickenhaus about his many cars, including the one-of-a-kind Ferrari P4/5 that Andrea Pininfarina designed and that he bought for more than $1 million.

Andrea Pininfarina R.I.P. The world of automotive design misses you already.

2008 Dodge Challenger Goes Car Spotting In Beverly Hills

2008 Dodge Challenger Goes Car Spotting In Beverly Hills

Car-parazzi 's been busy in Beverly Hills, CA.

As if it's not enough to ride in and look at a brand new, bright orange Dodge Challenger cruising in the California sunshine, we also get to spot some sick sheetmetal on display in Pretty Woman-land.

Only in and around Rodeo Drive would a casual day of car spotting offer up not 1 but 2 Porsche Carrera GTs, a bright yellow Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, a Bentley Continental GTC and an F430 Spyder, among others. What's that make, about $1.6m in total value?

Catch all the 90210 cars on display in the New Dodge Challenger & Beverly Hills video.

For a proper look at the DropHead Coupe, spend some time with our favorite Brits as they give it the once over: Top Gear Rolls-Royce
