Sad and crappy news from Turin, Italy today.
Andrea Pininfarina, the designer who has worked in conjunction with Ferrari, Fiat and more, has been killed. The scooter he was riding was hit by some idiot driving a car. The man behind the likes of the Ferrari Super America, the F430 Spyder, the Maserati Quattroporte and the 575M was a mere 51 years of age.
While at Palm Beach Supercar Weekend,
Garage419 had a talk with James Glickenhaus about his many cars, including the one-of-a-kind
Ferrari P4/5 that Andrea Pininfarina designed and that he bought for more than $1 million.
Andrea Pininfarina R.I.P. The world of automotive design misses you already.
