RoadFly Review's the 3-Series Convertible

How could this be better timed? Just as other sites are releasing spy shots of the new M3 Convertible, RoadFly submitted this video review of the car it will be based on. I've allways liked my convertible BMWs with either two seats or two wheels, so this is a tall statement for me to make that this new 3-series makes a very nice looking convertible. I'll reserve final judgment until I get to drive one in anger sideways on a mountain road.

I'm more of a RWD man myself, but ever since the advent of "tray-sliding" I have conceded a grudging respect to pocket rockets....and heck some modified SRT4s downright demand it. Forgive me if I tend to cover M3's more than I should on the Blog, but being an owner of an e46 M3, I'm a bit biased and this new car has me on my knees, Love it! Thanks as always to the publishers of RoadFly.com for using StreetFire to host their videos, wish we could have gotten out to Geneva to see this beast in the metal ourselves, but someone has to stay home and make sure the video servers still run ;-)

Roadfly.com tests the new Mini Cooper

RoadFly.com has just published two new tests starting with the new Mini Cooper.... I think.... darn thing looks so much like the old Mini Cooper that I struggle to tell them apart. Maybe if I got out more I could tell, you see while the other car web sites get to go out and have some fun, the StreetFire crew is busy managing video servers, encoding ques and web streamers.... sigh.... must be nice :-)

Oh and as a side note they also just got some seat time in a new Jaguar XKR to flog around Willow Springs. Okay now I just want to cry.... must get away from computer... must get back in driver's seat. If someone wants to treat me to a few runs at Road Atlanta to get me out of the house, drop me a line it would do wonders for my sanity ;-)
