600hp Smart Getting Ready For Hill Climb

600hp Smart Getting Ready For Hill Climb

We have SLICK to thank for this Smart Video

Take pretty much any car and you can modify it to within an inch of its life. Case in point, the Smart car in this video. The wheel flares and body kit are about as big as the car itself, which given it's got 600hp is probably a good thing.

No telling on how it fared in its Croatian hill climb, but judging by the 'support crew' (ie the chick in the white shorts), we're pretty sure the driver doesn't really give a crap! Well, would you? We can hear the post-race talk now: "Oh, darlink, I'm so sorry you lost...how can I make you feel better?"

Part 2 takes us in-car with driver Niko Pulic as he takes the Smart ForFour up the hill for the first time.

Everything seems to be going pretty smoothly and old Niko looks extremely relaxed. But then we get the excellent "skidding into the gravel trap" sound effects around the 4 minute mark. Looks like our 'post-race' talk was on the money!

V8 BMW E36 Hill Climb

V8 BMW E36 Hill Climb

German_kamikaze has uploaded this awesome video. Wunderbar!

Enjoy a trip through the Austrian countryside Streetfire.net style.

This heavily-modified BMW E36 is purpose-built for the Hill Climb. It's F3000 race engine is churning out 500 horsepower at 10,400 rpm and you hear every horse screaming as the Bimmer roars up the hill.

Watch the sparks fly as the super-low coupe touches down on the undulating pavement and marvel at how it seems glued to the road around every corner.

We wish we were one of the guys sitting on the wall as the car speeds by, but this video is a pretty good consolation!

To see how they do a hill climb Down Under, and compare the performance of a Porsche GT3 vs. a Subaru STi, check out National Hill Climb NSW .

Fast. What more can I say?

Brought to you by AussieHEMI.
Every once in a while we need to be reminded as to what we sometimes enjoy doing. Living in one of the most congested countries in the US, freeway traffic usually limits me to 30MPH. That's why when I watched this video, I felt all warm inside. It has a simple but timeless premise, GO FAST!

Bugatti Veyron and Predator V10 Hill climb

The Bugatti Veyron is quite simply automotive royalty. It brings one of the most esteemed names in the motoring world, backed with the most stunning performance figures witnessed since the McLaren F1 debuted. But how does it compare to a purpose built race car?

The folks from 2T4T.co.uk have presented us with two stunning videos to get a feel for what these machines bring to bear. The Bugatti needs no introduction, but the Predator? It features a 3 litre V10 arrows F1 engine in a purpose built hillclimb car. 800BHP, the video has not been speed up or digitally modified in any way. Watch and be amazed

Another awesome hill-climb video

I highlight videos for various reasons, and I have covered this team in the UK before. This time it's the camera angle that stood out, very neat video shoot, really gives you the raw sense of speed a hill climber goes through. Great Job!
