"The world's largest one-day automotive event runs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. along Woodward Avenue, through nine host communities, from Ferndale to Pontiac."
If you're in the Detroit area Saturday make sure to check out the cruise and look for the StreetFire staff! We will be out there bringing you the latest coverage from this year's event.
"On Saturday, August 16, at 7:30 a.m., more than 100 GM classic and iconic vehicles will travel in parade formation up Woodward Avenue during the GM Century Cruise. Lead by an E85 ethanol powered Corvette Z06, cars and trucks from every era of GM’s history will travel from the foot of Woodward Avenue at the GM Global Headquarters at the Renaissance Center and cruise north through the heart of Detroit to the Woodward Dream Cruise in Royal Oak and its surrounding suburbs. Upon arrival, these vehicles can be viewed at three locations: the Chevy Triangle and South Triangle in Birmingham, and Athens Coney Island in Royal Oak."
