If you were at the 2008 North American International Auto Show, then you will recognize that the overall design ques from
CTS Coupe Concept have trickled down to GM's latest creation.
Now at the Pebble Beach Concours De'Elegance,
GM has decided they like the CTS Coupe Concept enough to sculpt the 2010 CTS furthermore towards the Concept's sharp-edges and robustly-vivacious face, more importantly into a new Wagon! A wagon that has "...a silhouette that suggests speed and aerodynamic efficiency."
Moreover, GM has stated that "the car’s intricately cut rear profile injects fashion-forward design into the formerly utilitarian world of wagons."
When this car hits the streets, expect to see optional all-wheel-drive; 6 speed manual or an "electronically controlled Hydra-Matic 6L50 six-speed automatic;" two variant V-6's (between 263 to 304 bhp) and a 2.9L turbo-diesel being developed primarily in European and Asian markets.
