This clip is a little different especially for people who live in the Southern part of the US. If it snows one-tenth of an inch in the warmer climes of the US, we tend to close down commerce and send everyone home. So actually 'meaning' to drive on icy roads and at high speeds, oh yeah, jaw dropping time.
This video is of Norwegian rally driver, Andreas Mikkelsen. He’s racing a Ford Focus WRC. Mikkelsen is still in high school, by the way. The video: Ah a scenic tranquil site of snow covered pine needles is peaceful for about two seconds then Mikkelsen flies into focus.
By 17 seconds into the clip the Focus flies by leaving a cloud of snow. Check out the airborne Focus about 39 seconds into the clip and another leap with fireworks about 55 seconds in -- Wow! There are also some pretty cool drifting shots. Talk about traction! Pretty cool driving at 1:46 into the clip, too! Really the entire video is worth watching. Don't duck out before you see the last ten or so seconds.
