FIRST Nissan GT-R on the US Streets...in-car video

FIRST Nissan GT-R on US Streets View Video

Brought to you by: speedandmotion.

This is one of only two civilian owned Nissan GT-R supercars in the US at this time. It is an imported Japanese spec-model. The Streetfire crew met the owner of the GT-R at an event just last week and are excited about sharing this video with you.

The crew scans the car so it's like you were sliding behind the wheel yourself checking out all the cool gauges. Of course you get to see under the hood as well as check out the trunk which is roomier than you would think. Then they take her for a spin.

This is a very impressive car. She has a 3.8 litre V-6 with two IHI turbochargers. Wheels get power via a new twin clutch gearbox. The video grants a great demonstration of the dual clutch gearbox.

The Nissan GT-R is scheduled for a US release early Summer, 2008. This sleek 'playstationist' vehicle that handles like a race car (0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds) will have a price tag of approximately $70,000.
