Chevrolet Camaro: Past and Future

Chevrolet Camaro: Past and FutureBrought to you by: EddieCamaro.

This is a great album to check out if you are a Camaro fan waiting impatiently for the 5th generation to make its debut. You'll see several second generation Camaros also. This European-influenced styled version was introduced winter of 1970 and would not be changed dramatically until the 1982 model year debuted the third generation. The second generation was wider than the first (1st generation 1967 model) with longer doors, but the unibody structure remained with a front subframe, leaf springs in the back and A-arms for front suspension. The Camaro's base engine was the 250 cid (4.1 L) six-cylinder rated at 155 hp, but Chevrolet offered a variety of engine and style packages.

During the reign of the second generation Camaro, crash and emission standards were laid down by the government. These restrictions had a big impact on the design and production numbers of the vehicle.
