Turbocharging an Exotic takes guts and cash. Doing it right will set you back around $30,000, but, hey, if you can afford a Gallardo, right? However, if the tuner does the modification wrong you are looking at a sad tuner. Ruining a motor in a vehicle that costs over $200,000 means he'll have to shell out almost a third of the sticker price to put her back together.
The video displays a panoramic view of the rear-based Gallardo engine, which is, by the way, clean enough, that your mother-in-law would be happy to serve Thanksgiving lunch off of to all the family. We also watch the souped up Gallardo fly down a Southern Interstate! A few stats as you watch her in motion:
The stock Gallardo weighs roughly 3500 pounds and averages 0-62 in 3.9 seconds. Wonder what the 0-60 is on this version? I heard somewhere, maybe "CarandDriver" that a souped up version they tested went from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds. The first serious gear shifting starts at 39 seconds in but the best one is when he hits sixth at 48 seconds into the video. Here is another Lambo video we found and hope you enjoy. This one shows off
Lambos on a high speed course in Italy.
