911 GT3 Cup Street Racing

Bryce Miller is a hell of a guy. He's an excellent up-and-coming Grand-Am driver and a good sport. Who else would roll their 911 GT3 Cup in to New York City to drag race?

It was a really cold day for March. The temperature was hovering around 42 degrees. Tires were cold. Pavement was even colder. Now before you get your underwear in a knot about a Cayman versus a GT3 Cup... this is not ordinary Cayman. It's a Cayman GTR. That's right, a Cayman with a 3.8 litre X-51 motor from a 911 Carrera S.

Who won? The GT3, naturally. But, with the extreme cold and the Hoosiers it was a close finish... Watch and see...

Thanks to the guys at Farnbacher-Loles Racing, the New York international Auto Show the NYPD and the New York State Police for making it happen... I know it was a Saturday morning I won't soon forget!

Watch the race. It's fun and everyone's doing it.
