Electric Drive is the way of the future for Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep, with 2 hybrid vehicles -
a Jeep Wrangler and a Chrysler Town & Country - in the lineup that use an electric motor, backed up by a small combustion engine and a generator. A definite step-up (in green terms) from just a gas guzzling motor.
But there's also a
completely electric 2-door Dodge that produces the equivalent of 270 horsepower and around 450 lb-ft of torque, plus will do a 0-60 of under 5 seconds! It'll also go about 150miles on a single charge, which means there's really no excuse not to try electric power!
