From the guys the brought you the fastest production car, the
Ultimate Aero TT, comes another mind-blowing supercar. SSC (
Shelby Super Cars) officially announced today that they will be producing a 100% green supercar dubbed the
Ultimate Aero EV (Electric Vehicle). This car will be powered by a 500 HP electric motor and will put power to the ground via SSC's 6-speed manual transmission. A twin electric engine setup is being considered as well which would produce 1,000 HP! Eat your heart out

"I think we can do it faster, leaner and cleaner than any other manufacturer," says Jerod Shelby,SSC Founder.
According to SSC, delivery of the SSC Aero EV is expected for 4th quarter 2009.
