Chris, Jeremy and I worked hard over the past few years to get StreetFire where it is today, and I can't convey how much fun it is working at a company you helped create. This past weekend we helped (in a small part) give that same experience to a group of 45 people attending
Start Up Weekend LA. The premise is simple, you invite a whole bunch of people into a high octane space for a weekend, lock them up, and see what comes out on Monday. This weekend's result? A new company called
SocialMixr. What is it? SocialMixr is one of the new breed of social game networks you see cropping up on Facebook. Their first game, is called "
Frenemies" and allows you to choose an issue and then get your friends to either join you or not on the topic.
