MIT is hosting a new
Vehicle design summit to try and put the worlds best minds behind the solution to achieve 500Mpg. From a quick glance this appears to be a holistic approach where they look at hybrids of many technologies. For instance it's not enough to say "well here is my electric car", they apear to be looking at the gasoline used to generate the electricity that powers the car or the gasoline used to generate the hydrogen for a fuel cell. Kudos to MIT, I vote they
