Check out this 2:30 Escort drift. It's a little hard to believe that the North American version of the Escort, a car most Americans didn't want to be caught dead in, was tuned to the point of being called Europe's Landmark Rally Car. But surprises make life exciting and this drift action is no different.

Here's the scenario: The first action is seen about 18 seconds into the clip. This car is so smooth initially, you can almost see a person holding a remote control. The action becomes more intense though at 30 seconds into the clip. Wow!! There is more action at 54 seconds in, and just when you think the car is better suited driving sideways, they show the Escort on a straightaway. Nice 'change of pace' drifting video! Have fun!!
