The StreetFire CTS-V failed us? 0-60 in "no"?

First, a disclaimer, Jeremy, Chris and I all love GM LSx series cars. I have a 1998 Trans Am, Jeremy has a 2007 Trailblazer SS, and Chris has a 2006 CTS-V. Sadly the V let us down when we needed it most.

We packed up for a trip to PRI in Orlando, and Chris' CTS-V was an all star carrying three of us and Camera gear the whole way down in luxury and performance. But, the drive back proved a nightmare as the car gave out. Was this the fist time? Sadly no, his car has had a pretty infirmed history, and 4 hours away from home Chris was stranded.

Anyhow, the whole thing is on film, feel free to watch and judge for yourself. Now I personally hope and have faith that GM will come through for Chris and make things right. I'm a strong believer in the CTS-V and don't think this one example is representative of the breed. However, it takes more than world class product to beat the Germans and Japanese, it takes service as well, so let's stay tuned for the resolution to this story and hope it has a happy ending for everyone.
