The funny thing is, yesterday
LeftLane news reported that the RDX was just hitting dealer showrooms, so my wife and I jetted over to a local Acura dealership to try it out as a possible "economy option" to the MDX she's been eyeing.
The goods news is, it's a hoot to drive... Right up there with the Touareg V8 / Cayenne-S V8 as a "FUN" SUV. I even found it more fun than the BMW X3 which is saying a lot. The large displacement Turbo 4 cylinder never feels underpowered, and the lag isn't that bad. Heck it even has manumatic paddle shifters (though not a true SMG or DSG).
The bad news is, it only has about as much room as a large station wagon. I would be hard pressed to get two retriever sized Dogs in the back.... Though one would fit okay standing sideways. Oh well, our SUV-hunt continues.
